Personnel & Operational Management

1. greet customers politely as they enter the restaurant
2. Present menus to customers and answer questions about menu items, making recommendations upon request.
3. Communicate with customers to dining or order details, resolve complaints or ensure satisfaction.
4. Serve food and beverages to each table, and prepare or serve specialty dishes at tables as required
5. Clean food preparation areas, facilities or equipment.
6. Provides and supports service behaviours that are above and beyond for customer satisfaction and retention.
7. Actively involves in menu development and maintaining updated and accurate costing of all dished prepared and sold in the Food and Beverage operation.
8. Maintain an up-to-date working knowledge of the menu items and daily specials, inform customers of special items not listed on the menu.
9. Ensures compliance with food handling and sanitation standards.
10. Follows proper handling and right temperature of all food products.
11. Ensures all equipment in the kitchen is properly maintained and in working order in accordance with local Health standards.
12. Ensure all products are prepared in a consistent manner and meet departmental appearance/quality standards.
